Musescore legato1/4/2024 The survey and two weeks of waiting was worth getting the latter free, but you can pay like $50 if you really want it now. My first real VST instruments were LABS and BBCSO: Discovery Edition by Spitfire Audio. They were probably revolutionary in 2002. They together can function as VST plugins within a DAW, but they really sound clunky. When I discovered them, I was tickled because I was new to the world of electronic music production. Samplers don't really do much except play SFZs with a MIDI keyboard (in my simplified view). This includes more Sonatina instruments and ancient libraries made by people like Big Cat Instruments. There are things like samplers such as Plogue's Sforzando that can play lots of other SFZs that MuseScore can't really. MuseScore is just too good for me to bother paying for another notation software, and no notation software is currently as capable as a lot of VST instruments that you put in a DAW. I stick to MuseScore and bear the cringy sounds for a while, and then I export the MIDI and put it in a DAW. This site has soundfonts such as that for MuseScore: ![]() You would need to do something a little funky with moving it into some MuseScore Soundfonts folder, but I think that you can figure it out. The Arabs gave the village its name, which appears to be derived from Banu Al Madena, meaning "sons of the mines", a reference to the important mineral deposits which had been heavily exploited since Roman times a number of archaeological remains pertaining to this period have been unearthed here, notably a mosaic which can be found in the Alcazaba Museum in Malaga.
